TERMS & CONDITIONS
SERVICE, PAYMENT, REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
By making a payment, signing a quotation or agreement, providing documents, instructing us to begin work, or using our services, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
1. Nature of MAE Services
MAE Legal Consultation FZ LLC provides legal consultation and legal advisory services only.
MAE may:
Review the Client’s case.
Review documents and information.
Provide legal consultation.
Explain available legal options.
Provide case assessments.
Provide general legal guidance.
Coordinate the Client’s matter with the appropriate licensed service provider where further legal procedures are required.
MAE Legal Consultation FZ LLC does not itself represent Clients before courts or authorities where such representation must legally be carried out by a licensed lawyer, law firm, debt collection company, or other authorised entity.
2. Legal Procedures and Third-Party Service Providers
Where the Client requires legal representation, court procedures, debt collection, government submissions, enforcement procedures, or other services requiring an authorised third party, such work may be carried out through:
Alawi Al Jabri Advocates & Legal Consultants
علاوي الجابري للمحاماة والاستشارات القانونية
and/or
Al Ittihad Debt Collection
الاتحاد لتحصيل الديون
MAE may coordinate the Client’s matter with these companies or other authorised service providers when required.
Any court representation, legal filing, debt collection procedure, government procedure, enforcement procedure, or other regulated legal action will be performed by the relevant authorised company or professional.
Where a separate company provides the service, that company may issue its own:
Agreement.
Invoice.
Receipt.
Power of Attorney.
Terms and Conditions.
Professional service documents.
Each company remains responsible for the services it independently provides.
3. No Guarantee of Results
MAE provides professional consultation and will use reasonable professional efforts to assist the Client.
However, no legal, court, police, CID, immigration, government, debt collection, settlement, or other result can be guaranteed.
Final decisions may be made by:
Courts.
Judges.
Police authorities.
CID.
Public Prosecution.
Immigration authorities.
Government departments.
Banks.
Creditors.
Debtors.
Opposing parties.
Other third parties.
The Client understands that payment is made for the consultation, professional work, coordination, time, and services provided.
Payment does not mean that a specific result, approval, judgment, settlement, visa, cancellation, recovery, or government decision is guaranteed.
4. Government Decisions
MAE cannot control any decision made by a government authority or other third party.
A rejection, refusal, unsuccessful result, delay, or different outcome from what the Client expected does not automatically mean that the professional service was not performed.
It also does not automatically create a right to a refund.
5. Government Delays
Government processing times are outside the control of MAE.
MAE is not responsible for delays caused by:
Courts.
Police.
CID.
Public Prosecution.
Immigration authorities.
Notaries.
Ministries.
Municipalities.
Government departments.
Government online systems.
Banks.
Other authorities or third parties.
Any timeframe provided to the Client is an estimated timeframe only, unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
Government delays do not automatically create a right to a refund.
6. Power of Attorney Processing Time
The normal estimated processing time for a Power of Attorney is:
1 to 3 working days.
This estimated period begins after all required information, documents, identification, and payments have been received.
The Power of Attorney may take longer if:
The notary requests additional documents.
Translation is required.
Documents need to be corrected.
Identity verification is delayed.
Government systems are unavailable.
Government requirements change.
The Client delays providing information.
Another issue outside our reasonable control occurs.
MAE is not responsible for delays caused by the government, notary, Client, or third party.
7. Power of Attorney Refund Policy
Power of Attorney fees may include:
Professional fees.
Drafting fees.
Translation fees.
Notary fees.
Government fees.
Third-party charges.
Processing fees.
Once Power of Attorney has started, the amount relating to work already performed is non-refundable.
Any government, notary, translation, or third-party fee already paid or submitted is also non-refundable unless the relevant authority or provider actually refunds the amount.
The price of a Power of Attorney may vary depending on:
Type of Power of Attorney.
Number of parties.
Language.
Jurisdiction.
Required documents.
Notarisation requirements.
Complexity of the matter.
8. CID and Case Checking
CID, police, criminal case checking, travel-ban checking, and similar verification services are non-refundable once the checking process has started.
The fee is charged for the work, checking, coordination, follow-up, and professional service.
The result of the check does not affect the fee.
For example, whether a case, travel ban, restriction, police matter, or other record is found or not found does not create a right to a refund once the service has been performed.
9. Office and Professional Fees
Office fees are paid for professional consultation, administrative work, coordination, staff time, document review, and other agreed services.
A refund may be considered only for the unused portion of office fees where the relevant work has not yet been performed.
All refund requests are subject to:
Review of the Client’s file.
Review of work already performed.
Review of expenses already incurred.
Verification of the payment.
Management approval.
Where part of the work has already been completed, the reasonable value of that work may be deducted.
Only the unused refundable balance, if any, may be considered for refund.
10. Work Already Started or Completed
Any work already started or completed is generally non-refundable.
This may include:
Consultation.
Case assessment.
Document review.
Legal research.

Follow-ups.

Coordination with lawyers or third parties.
Application preparation.
Case checking.
POA preparation.
Translation coordination.
Government coordination.
Administrative processing.
Other professional work performed for the Client.
If professional time, resources, or effort have already been spent on the Client’s matter, the relevant fees are considered earned for the work performed.
11. Government Fees
Government fees are separate from MAE office fees.
Government Fees Not Yet Paid
If a government fee has been collected but has not yet been paid, submitted, transferred, or committed to the relevant authority, the amount may be refundable, subject to verification and management approval.
Government Fees Already Paid
Once a government fee has been:
Paid.

it is non-refundable by MAE.
This may include payments made to:
Courts.
Police.
CID.
Public Prosecution.
Immigration.
Notaries.
Ministries.
Municipalities.
Government departments.
Other competent authorities.
If the relevant government authority later returns the money to MAE, the amount actually returned may be returned to the Client after account reconciliation and deduction of any outstanding amounts.

Some Client matters may require third-party services.
These may include:
Lawyers.
Law firms.
Debt collection companies.
Translators.
Notaries.
Experts.
Typing centres.
Couriers.

Other professional service providers.
Once a third-party fee has been paid, ordered, committed, or incurred, it may be non-refundable.
MAE is not responsible for the independent refund policies or decisions of third-party providers.
13. Alawi Al Jabri Advocates & Legal Consultants
Where court representation, litigation, legal filing, advocacy, or other regulated legal procedures are required, the matter may be coordinated with:
Alawi Al Jabri Advocates & Legal Consultants
علاوي الجابري للمحاماة والاستشارات القانونية

The final recovery of any debt cannot be guaranteed.
15. Independent Responsibility of Service Providers
MAE may coordinate with third-party or associated companies, but each legal entity remains independently responsible for the services it provides.
The cooperation between MAE and another company does not automatically make one company liable for:
The debts of another company.
The obligations of another company.
Refunds due by another company.
Independent professional decisions.
Government outcomes.
Third-party actions.
Where the Client enters into a separate agreement with another company, the terms of that agreement will apply to the services provided by that company.
16. Refund Eligibility

Processing time may also depend on:
The Client’s bank.

Payment processor.
Banking compliance requirements.
MAE is not responsible for additional delays caused by the Client’s bank or payment provider after the refund has been processed.
19. Client Cancellation

MAE will review the Client’s file and determine whether any unused refundable balance remains.
Any refund remains subject to the applicable Refund Policy and management approval.
20. Client Responsibilities
